Scouting Moves
I love it when scouting directors shuffle clubs, as it makes for interesting philosophical changes. Here's the moves so far:
-Nationals' scouting director Dana Brown was hired away by the Blue Jays to become a special assistant to the general manager.
-Braves' scouting director Roy Clark has been hired to replace Brown in Washington as their scouting director.
More news will be coming.

Braves under Clark were prep focused, and almost nothing over slot. With so many Nats immediate needs, will this approach help them? It seems they should go after college guys closer to the pros and be willing to pay over slot to build their system quickly. He’s a great long term builder . . . .

GM Mike Rizzo is famously focused on college players. There is hope in DC that the combination of Rizzo and Clark will complement each other. The Nationals also lured Johnny DiPuglia, the Red Sox’s Latin American coordinator, to DC.

Profiles of these men and their proclivities and effects on their teams would be awesome

+1 as well. I’d be interested which teams really have good synergy with their scouting directors, and which teams/scouts are just mismatched.
